Citizen Charter

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department is in the process of publishing Citizen charter while as the Citizen Charter prepared by the Directorate of Rural Development Kashmir is already available. About the various schemes being implemented by this Department, a detailed mention has been separately given highlighting alongside the various objectives of the schemes. Regarding the progress achieved from time to time, the Monthly Progress Reports are also being displayed to facilitate accessing them and learning about the nature of activities being undertaken both in physical and financial terms.

Any detailed information with regard to works executed or the various features of the schemes can be ascertained from the Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj or from his field agencies on the addresses being separatelyunder reliant head “who is who” provided as also the telephone number of the different field officers.

Any complaint/suggestion, which may help the Deptt. or be of any avail to the general public can be even communicated to the Deptt. While electing to conceal the identity subject to the condition that the complaint is specific and actionable. In order to familiarize with the various rules, regulations, procedures and other connected details, the identified space can be accessed for obtaining requisite information for further building up a better perception about different connected spheres of activities in the Department.
